Who am I?
My name is Anna, and I am the mind and heart behind Mediterranea Veste. I am an Italian woman in love with my homeland. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and am completing a second degree in Art History.
Fashion, art, and nature are my purest inspirations: three different paths to re-embrace authentic beauty, the quality of yesteryear, and the identity that today's world risks forgetting.
With Mediterranea Veste, I propose a conscious, spiritual, and existential resistance. I do not isolate myself from the world, but rather use modern means to offer a quality alternative and organic belonging, against quantity and global leveling.
In a world that pushes for uprooting, my roots are everything to me. Mine is a choice of active resistance to globalism and to a purely materialistic and mercantile society, which transforms the individual into an interchangeable atom and a consumer without identity.
Through careful vintage selection, I want to defend the uniqueness and history of our land, rejecting homogenization to restore value and soul to what we wear.
Because ultimately, the Mediterranean is this: ancient routes, ports, sun-warmed stone. It's textiles that travel, hands that work, stories that pass from one shore to another.
The sea is what unites. Different shores, yet always bound by the same rhythms of the earth, the same human warmth, and the identical need for roots.
